Clinical psychology is the application of psychological knowledge and clinical experience to help people with their wellbeing and mental health difficulties. Sandy McAfee worked for many years as a consultant clinical psychologist within the NHS, specialising in adult and older adult psychotherapy and neuropsychology, and the teaching, training and supervision of other staff. After retiring from the NHS in 2018 he established McAfee Psychology to continue this work and bring a broader range of services to the public and to staff who work with mental health issues.
